Alan Shen received his PhD in Chemical Engineering from UCONN in 2018. He obtained his double major in Mathematics and Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. He worked as a process engineer for Samsung Austin Semiconductor and Formosa Plastics before coming to UCONN.
