Dr. Kowsari was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at UCONN and Program Manager for the US NSF Additive Manufacturing Center (SHAP3D). He received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto in 2017 and was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD-MIT) prior to joining UCONN. His research interests encompass advanced additive manufacturing using digital light processing microstereolithography-based multimaterial 3D/4D printing of shape memory polymers and biomaterials as well as multiphase computational flow dynamics for flows within microfluidic channels.
