Dr. Maryam Pardakhti received her PhD degree from the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Connecticut (UConn) in 2019. She spent 5 years in chemical industry prior to starting her PhD. Her research at UConn focused on the application of data science and machine learning in materials discovery. Dr. Pardakhti was the recipient of General Electric (GE) fellowship in 2017. She was selected by Connecticut Technology Council (CTC) as one of the three finalists of Women of Innovation award in 2019.
