Dr. SeungYeon Kang obtained her PhD degree in Applied Physics/Material Science from Harvard University and worked at Princeton University as a postdoctoral research associate. Prior to her postdoc work, she spent 3 years at Samsung SDI as a senior research engineer working on lithium ion batteries. Her research interests are focused on advanced laser materials processing techniques, fundamental principles & application of light-matter interaction, nanofabrication and energy technology.
